Dr. Nierenberg has over 30 years of experience as a chiropractor and continuously strives for clinical excellence and overall patient satisfaction by utilizing skilled and specific patient treatments coupled with integrity, post-graduate education, and additional specialties.
Dr. Nierenberg is a 1991 graduate of the Southern California University of Health Sciences (formerly Los Angeles College of Chiropractic). Subsequently, in 1994 he became a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP) and, in 1998, a Diplomate of the American Board of Chiropractic Orthopedics (DABCO).
In 2014, Dr. Nierenberg became a Certified Medical Examiner (CME) for the U.S. Department of Transportation and offers DOT and non-DOT driver physicals. As a CME, he also performs FAA BasicMed physicals.
Dr. Nierenberg’s mission is to provide all the clinic’s patients with comprehensive and individual chiropractic care of the highest standard. Dr. Nierenberg sees patients complaining of back pain, neck pain, sciatica, headaches, and sports injuries. He utilizes traditional techniques such as diversified spinal and extremity adjustments, muscle work, therapeutic modalities, and the flexion-distraction technique for sciatic pain.

As a Chiropractor, Dr. Nierenberg specializes in treating a variety of conditions, including back and neck pain, sciatica, tension/migraine/sinus headaches, muscle pain, TMJ pain, tendonitis, arthritis (some types), and joint pain in the arms or legs (extremities). What makes him unique from many of his chiropractic colleagues is that he provides specific muscle therapy on his patients during every treatment. Also, his expertise and board certifications in chiropractic sports and chiropractic orthopedics enables him to treat many conditions of the extremities including sprains and strains, rotator cuff conditions, tennis elbow, carpal tunnel syndrome, plantar fasciitis, and more. His other specialty is pregnancy-related back pain/sciatica. He always provides information about improving your lifestyle, diet, workout, or workplace ergonomics, with the goal of increasing the overall quality of your health. He also treats back and neck pain from work and motor vehicle accidents.
As a CME (Certified Medical Examiner) for the Department of Transportation, Dr. Nierenberg performs physicals on commercial (CDL's), and drivers of oversized vehicles, such as landscaping trailers. Additionally, as a CME, Dr. Nierenberg is specially trained to perform FAA BasicMed physicals on private pilots, recreational pilots, student pilots, and non-commercial flight instructors.
